Web Application Developer
Role & Responsibilities:
- Build new web-based features and interfaces for DocuBuzz.
- Code primarily in Ruby/Rails, HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
- Participate in pair programming
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Ruby/Rails
- Experience doing front-end work with Javascript, CSS
- Knowledgeable about browser-specific issues and incompatibilities
Nice to have:
- Unix/Linux proficiency
- Startup experience
- Experience with Photoshop
- Experience testing for the web (unit tests, Selenium, etc.)
- Experience with distributed version control systems (Mercurial, Git)
- Proficient in Prototype or JQuery Javascript frameworks
- Proficient in MySQL
iOS Developer
Role & Responsibilities:
- Build and help maintain a native iOS application for DocuBuzz
- Work with back end engineers to develop and maintain the server-side API
Requirements:
- Experience developing iPhone and iPad applications
- Proficient with Objective C and coca touch
- C++ Background
Nice to have:
- Unix/Linux proficiency
- Startup experience
- UI Design experience
- API design experience
Desktop Engineer
Role & Responsibilities:
- Build desktop applications and sync tools for the DocuBuzz web service that integrate seamlessly with the native file systems, and build interfaces that blend into and extend the desktop OS.
- Design and build the UI for the DocuBuzz desktop sync client
- Assist in the design and development of the DocuBuzz API
Requirements:
- Experience in programming C++/C# in a Windows environment; comfortable with the various Windows APIs
- Experience creating clients that leverage web based services via REST and SOAP
- Experience building simple, elegant desktop user interfaces
Nice to have:
- Experience developing desktop applications for web services
- Experience building apps for all three major platforms (Windows, Mac, and Linux)
- Knowledge of other GUI toolkits (Cocoa, GTK)
- Startup experience
- UI Design experience
- API Design experience
Web/UI Design Intern
Role & Responsibilities:
- Help steer DocuBuzz visual design direction
- Help design and mockup new user interfaces
- Design and create graphic elements (such as icons, graphics etc)
- Design and layout our public website and marketing collateral
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with web design (or graphic design for the web)
- A passion for digital user experiences (UX) and natural user interfaces (NUI)
Nice to have:
- Front-end web design experience
- Any programming ability
Programming Intern
Role & Responsibilities:
- Build new web-based features and interfaces for DocuBuzz.
- Code primarily in Ruby/Rails or HTML + JavaScript
Requirements:
- Programming proficiency
- Some experience doing front-end work with html, JavaScript
Nice to have:
- Familiarly with the JQuery Javascript framework
- Unix/Linux proficiency
- Experience with Photoshop
Marketing / Customer Development Intern
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and track online marketing strategy
- Help to conceptualize and field-test advanced editions of DocuBuzz
- Implement partner-marketing initiatives to reach new customer segments
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in search engine optimization (SEO), landing page design & conversion optimization techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in sales / marketing of small-business oriented solutions
- Familiarity with Cloud-based applications and services
